Privacy policy
Last updated: August 4, 2026
Cipton Sports ("Cipton," "we," "us"), operated by Hardline Group LLC, runs cipton.com. This policy explains what we collect when you visit or buy from our store, how we use it, and what choices you have.
Information we collect
When you order: your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment information. Card details are processed by our payment providers — including Shopify Payments, PayPal, and the express checkout options offered at checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
When you browse: your IP address, browser and device type, time zone, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site, collected using cookies and similar technologies.
When you sign up for marketing: the email address and/or phone number you give us, and your subscription status.
When you contact us: whatever you include in your message, so we can help you.
How we use it
- To fulfill your order — process payment, ship your products, send order and shipping confirmations, and provide support.
- To communicate with you — including marketing emails or text messages only if you opted in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link; you can stop texts any time by replying STOP.
- To screen orders for fraud and protect against abuse.
- To improve and market our store — including analytics and advertising on platforms such as Google and Meta. We share limited information (such as device identifiers, page views, and purchase events) with advertising and analytics partners so we can measure and improve our ads.
Who we share it with
We share personal information with the companies that help us operate:
- Shopify — our e-commerce platform
- Payment processors — to charge your card and handle refunds
- Shipping and fulfillment partners — to pick, pack, and deliver your order
- Email and SMS providers — to send the messages you signed up for
- Analytics and advertising partners — including Google and Meta
Each one gets only what it needs to do its job. We do not sell your personal information for money. We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies for core store functions (like keeping your cart), for analytics, and for advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings — blocking some may affect how the store works. For advertising cookies specifically, you can also use the opt-out tools offered directly by Google and Meta.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from email any time using the link in any message we send.
- Stop text messages any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information — email support@cipton.com and we'll handle it. Depending on where you live (including California), you may have specific legal rights to access, delete, correct, or opt out of the sharing of your personal information. We honor these requests regardless of which state you're in, and we will never treat you differently for making one.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as we need them for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, and our payment processing is handled by PCI-compliant providers. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our products are enjoyed by kids, but the store itself is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Links to other sites
Our site may link to sites we don't operate. We're not responsible for their content or their privacy practices — review their policies before giving them information.
Changes
We'll post any changes on this page and update the date above.
